Anonymous Chatbot Against Drug Advertising on Walls Launched in Surgut
A service has gone live in the MAX messenger through which residents can report inscriptions advertising banned substances in two clicks while remaining anonymous. The bot began operating in late September.

Reports are sent to the relevant department of the city administration and then forwarded to the police for verification and to hold those responsible accountable. Owners of premises, management companies, and legal entities are issued demands to remove the inscriptions. Around ten reports have been received so far: some of the graffiti has already been erased, and the rest is in the process of being removed.
The problem remains acute: over nine months, the number of fatal poisonings from banned substances rose from 12 to 26 cases compared with the same period last year. In addition to the chatbot, authorities together with the police are conducting prevention work in educational institutions and giving lectures.
