Volgograd Region Launches Dedicated Section on Gosuslugi Portal
Residents of the Volgograd region can now use a dedicated section on the Gosuslugi portal, after the region joined a pilot initiative led by the Ministry of Digital Development.
A banner labeled “Volgograd Region” has been added to the homepage, directing users to a specialized hub featuring the most demanded services. These include registering documents for the birth of a child, accessing social support for large families, selecting venues for off-site marriage registration, and navigating hunting areas.
According to the regional IT committee, the section also links to themed categories. The tourism section highlights attractions, hotels, and event listings, the business section explains how to start a company and apply for subsidies, and the education section provides information on schools and kindergartens. Residents can also take part in surveys on regional development and submit complaints.
The launch is part of the region’s broader digital transformation. The initiative is being implemented under Tsifrovoe gosudarstvennoe upravlenie (Digital Public Administration), a federal project within the national program Ekonomika dannykh (Data Economy).
