A Digital Sports Center Opens in Krasnoyarsk
The phygital hub is designed for anyone interested in mastering new technologies.

An innovative sports complex – a phygital center – has opened in Krasnoyarsk, according to the regional Ministry of Digital Development. The venue is designed to combine digital technologies with sports training to help develop a new generation of champions.
The new space, located on the grounds of the Central Stadium, features a drone racing track, gaming workstations for esports disciplines, driving simulators, console gaming zones, and a rhythm simulator that trains athletes to synchronize movement and timing.
Phygital Sports Nationwide
The center will be open free of charge to anyone interested. It will also be used to host drone racing competitions. The region is considered one of Russia’s leaders in the development of uncrewed aviation and the training of drone operators.
Phygital sports centers have already opened in Yugra, Belgorod, Stavropol Krai, and other regions. Russia also holds an annual national championship in phygital sports and has established a federation for the “Games of the Future,” creating another pipeline for training skilled professionals for the country’s digital economy.
