Remote Veterinary Consultations Launched in Moscow Region
Pet owners in the region can now consult a veterinarian remotely by choosing a convenient date and time for a video appointment through the MOy APK (My Agricultural Complex) portal.
“This format eliminates unnecessary trips for pet owners, and, most importantly, the animal does not have to deal with the stress of traveling and being in an unfamiliar environment. The new service lets users choose a convenient date and time for a video call without having to rearrange their entire day around a visit to the veterinarian,” said Nadezhda Kurtyanik, Moscow Region’s minister of public administration, information technology and communications.
The ministry said that online appointments can be booked through the MOy APK portal. Eight services are currently available through the tele-veterinary service, and the catalog is expected to expand.
The Veterinary Services of Moscow Region section brings together digital services for pet owners. Users can find public veterinary clinics, book in-person appointments, learn about pet registration and microchipping, and find the addresses and operating hours of vaccination sites.
