CRM Moves Into Messaging Apps as Sber Launches Teeeams Mini-App
Russian entrepreneurs can now automate customer interactions and workflows not on standalone platforms but directly inside familiar messaging apps. Sber Business Soft has launched Teeeams, a mini-app that brings core SberCRM functionality into Telegram and MAX.

Users no longer need to jump between browser tabs or mobile apps to link customer data with sales pipelines. Core CRM functionality, including tasks, deals, and contacts, is now available within a single interface. Moving CRM workflows into messaging apps makes sense for mid-sized and small businesses, as well as for self-employed users.
Business Software Moves Into Messaging Channels
Teeeams allows users to create and manage records, move them through pipeline stages, search data, and receive bot notifications while tracking activity without leaving the chat. This speeds things up significantly. The product is free for teams of up to three users, lowering the barrier for small businesses and freelancers.
This points to a broader shift in the digital economy: business software is moving toward lightweight mobile interfaces built into the channels where employees already work and communicate. The development of domestic CRM solutions around local communication platforms is happening alongside the emergence of a B2B ecosystem around MAX.

A Single Interface Approach
The Sber Business Soft case reinforces the local business software market. Small businesses need simple tools to automate day-to-day work. By consolidating a wide range of functions into a single messaging interface, Teeeams speaks directly to that demand. Russia’s IT sector is already focused on building a national software stack for small and medium-sized businesses, connecting large ecosystems to direct communication channels.
If MAX proves successful as a business platform, it could encourage Russian vendors to build solutions that turn messaging apps into full-fledged super apps for SMBs. A fully functional CRM inside a familiar mobile environment could give companies a clear competitive edge.

From Standalone Systems to Integrated Ecosystems
Sber launched its SberCRM platform in 2021, plugging it into multiple B2B services from the start. The core feature set included deal management, customer databases, product and service catalogs, email tools, and other capabilities. Over the past five years, the platform has expanded rapidly, adding services integrated with the bank’s ecosystem and beyond, including external platforms such as the Federal Tax Service.
MAX was launched for mass adoption in Russia in 2025 as a national messaging platform. Over time, it is evolving into a broader business platform, adding channels, mini-apps, chatbots, and partner integrations. The launch of Teeeams is a logical continuation of this trajectory.

The Push for a Unified Digital Environment
In 2026, MAX is expected to continue evolving as a B2B platform. This is driving demand for tools like low-code connectors, API gateways, and tools that embed business services directly into messaging apps.
CRM and messaging platforms are merging into a single environment, where the most competitive solutions combine functionality with ease of use in day-to-day work. Russia is actively building a market for enterprise software in which communication platforms are becoming the entry point to digital business processes.
