SberMedII to Develop Multi-Agent AI System for Hospitals
The platform is designed to take over a significant share of physicians' administrative workload.
At the 6th All-Russian NOVAMED-2026 Forum, SberMedII outlined its plans for the near future. The company's CEO, Viktor Ushakov, announced the development of a multi-agent artificial intelligence system for healthcare providers.
The platform will combine multiple AI assistants, each responsible for a specific set of tasks. These include collecting and structuring patient medical histories, interpreting laboratory test results, preparing medical documentation, and supporting clinical decision-making.
In practical terms, the system will handle much of the routine administrative work. This will allow physicians to spend more time with patients and focus on selecting the most appropriate course of treatment.
According to SberMedII, using AI agents of this kind could reduce time spent on paperwork and administrative tasks by about 30%, improving the operational efficiency of healthcare institutions.
