According to Roskomnadzor, the attacks were most frequently launched from IP addresses registered in the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. The telecom sector was the primary target, while the largest number of incidents was recorded in Russia’s Central Federal District.

The most powerful attack peaked at 1.03 terabits per second with a packet rate of 88.55 million packets per second. The longest-running attack lasted 5 days, 4 hours, and 54 minutes.

In addition to DDoS attacks, authorities said they blocked nearly 7,900 phishing resources and 677 websites distributing malicious software in April, while also resolving more than 1,300 traffic routing violations.
