Russia Unveils a Mobile Digital Employee Office Platform
The new mobile platform brings corporate services, secure communications, and collaboration tools into a single digital workspace. The solution was unveiled at the CNews conference “The Modern Digital Office 2025.”

Connecting More Than 40,000 Employees
Large corporations need secure internal platforms that clearly separate personal and work communications, help engage and unite employees, and remain resilient against data leaks. One such project is the Digital Employee Office, a mobile solution developed for Rosselkhozbank by its in-house IT center, R-Style Softlab, a software developer specializing in financial-sector technologies.
The Digital Employee Office is a fintech solution designed to ensure secure and efficient internal communication within large organizations. The project launched in 2022 and has since evolved into a full-featured digital environment. Today, it is used by more than 40,000 employees across 11 time zones. The platform brings together core work and communication services into a single digital space.
According to the bank’s estimates, around 85% of employees are active users on a monthly basis, regularly logging into the system. One of the platform’s key strengths is that it was built entirely on a Russian technology stack and meets high information security standards.

Enabling One-Click Communication Across the Organization
What does the Digital Employee Office offer in practice? It functions as a secure application that serves as a single entry point to the company’s information systems, including internal news, task management tools, messaging, email, and calendars. Through the mobile app, bank employees can access protected corporate systems from their smartphones, start conversations with any colleague, and view structured information about teams and departments. This significantly simplifies onboarding for new hires and makes remote work easier. Starting a chat with a colleague requires just one click from an employee profile.
The platform also acts as a practical tool for managing corporate culture, offering multiple ways to engage employees in company life. The software complies with all information security requirements and balances flexibility and accessibility of corporate data with strong protection against leaks. As such, the Digital Employee Office stands out as a notable example of digital transformation within a major Russian bank, highlighting the growth of specialized HR and communication systems built on domestic software.

The solution is being rolled out across Rosselkhozbank’s organization, which employs more than 30,000 people, aligning with the broader trend toward digitalization of corporate services in Russia. By relying on a national technology stack, the platform strengthens technological sovereignty in the financial sector. It also improves internal collaboration and automates key personnel management processes.
Setting a Direction for the Domestic IT Industry
Developing mobile Digital Employee Office platforms in Russia has the potential to improve efficiency and service quality across large banks, stimulate growth in the local market for corporate IT solutions, and reduce dependence on foreign HR and enterprise platforms throughout the financial sector.

While the solution is currently tailored for Rosselkhozbank, it could eventually be adapted into a commercial product for other government agencies and large corporations. It may become a standard solution for major Russian holdings, particularly in the banking and public sectors. Such a transition would strengthen the position of local developers and further reduce the technological reliance of Russian companies on foreign software.
