AI Assistant Preps Patient Briefings for Moscow Doctors

A neural network integrated into Moscow’s digital healthcare system now delivers millions of medical briefings, helping doctors make faster and more informed decisions.

Doctors in Moscow are getting a digital boost from a new AI-powered agent that automatically compiles concise patient summaries. The system scans electronic medical records and recent complaints before a visit, allowing physicians to greet patients with context already in hand. In just one month, the AI prepared over two million of these medical snapshots.

Developers say the assistant has access to a wide range of patient data, including examination protocols, test results, ambulance calls, prescriptions, and more. The AI also gathers initial symptoms and health concerns, distilling them into a focused report tailored to the upcoming appointment. This not only saves doctors time but also ensures no critical detail is overlooked.

Every day, the system generates around 44,000 summaries across Moscow. It's part of a broader digital decision-support ecosystem. In the final stage of patient evaluation, the AI assistant suggests a potential diagnosis—acting as an independent reviewer to reduce diagnostic errors. Importantly, the ultimate decision remains with the attending physician.
