Russia Unveils Industrial Welding Robot

Rosatom’s engineering division has introduced 'AIM,' an industrial welding robot, marking a new step toward automation in Russian manufacturing and aligning with global trends in digitalization and robotics.
In the city of Dmitrov, Russia has launched the construction of the 'Klyuch' industrial park, where Rosatom subsidiary AtomIntelMash showcased its new industrial robot under the brand name AIM. Designed for welding operations—a critical component for both safety and efficiency in manufacturing—the system is set to enhance production processes, according to the state corporation’s press service.
Rosatom’s robotics solutions are already in use not only in the nuclear sector but across other industries. The creation of the Klyuch industrial park is expected to accelerate the development of competitive domestic technologies.
The introduction of AIM represents another move toward higher automation in Russian industry, keeping pace with the worldwide shift toward digital and robotic manufacturing.
