Public Transport Card Services Top Digital Usage Rankings in Moscow Region

The ‘Strelka’ transport card service has become the most in-demand digital tool in the Moscow region, with students and pensioners using it tens of thousands of times each week to manage discounted fares.
Support services for the unified Strelka transit card are now the most popular digital service in the Moscow region. Statistics show the service is used more than 55,000 times per week. With just a few clicks, riders can confirm eligibility for discounted fares, order a new card, recover a security code, or exchange a malfunctioning card.
The platform also allows users to activate or deactivate fare discounts linked to the Mir payment card. Discounted Strelka cards are most commonly used by students and military pensioners.
Ranking second among the region’s digital services is enrollment in clubs and extracurricular activities, which logged over 33,000 uses— a seasonal spike tied to September registrations for youth sports and classes.
In third place are social cards for Moscow region residents. Overall, more than 400 digital services are available to both citizens and businesses, all of which can also be accessed through the new Dobrodel mobile app.
