Registry Platform Transforms Cardiology Practice in Russia

Digital health registries are helping Russian cardiologists track patient conditions more precisely and improve outcomes.

Across Russia’s regions, digital systems are being introduced to support cardiologists. A striking example comes from Kuzbass, where a chronic heart failure registry has been created on the basis of the N3.Healthcare digital platform and its N3.Registry Platform subsystem.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. In Russia, chronic heart failure affects an estimated 7–10 percent of the population. Creating a unified digital field is intended to change these statistics and save lives. Such systems not only treat but also prevent disease by detecting it at an early stage.

In Kuzbass, the new program centralizes and systematizes patient data. Doctors gain a complete view: digital patient profiles, test results, ambulance calls, diagnoses, and treatment methods are all available in one place. The registry platform also monitors whether treatments align with clinical guidelines from the Russian Ministry of Health and notifies physicians if they do not.

Medical professionals note that the successful experience in Kuzbass is likely to draw attention from other regions, which may also adopt the registry platform.
